Penrite CRF Honda Racing team
Australian National Motocross & Supercross
Now in its third year of competition, CRF Honda Racing proudly welcomes the arrival of leading Australian lubricant brand Penrite Oils as the team’s naming rights sponsor for 2017.
Penrite CRF Honda Racing is owned and managed by Mark Luksich, the longtime mentor of Australian MX legend Glen Bell and manager of the Honda teams riders like Bell, Lee Hogan, Cameron Taylor and Dale Britton rode for through the 1980s and ’90s. After working in other areas of motorcycle sport for the past two decades, Luksich reunited with Honda in 2015 to commence a 250cc race program, which has rapidly grown in profile and support over the past two years.
For 2017 Penrite CRF Honda Racing is set to serve double-class duty for the first time, with returning team riders Joel Wightman and Kyle Webster contesting the MX1 (450cc) and MX2 (250cc) categories respectively. Wightman will be making his debut in the big-bore ranks, while Webster has already shown his form as a MX Nationals MX2 moto winner and has his eyes set firmly on the top step of the podium again this year.
